The Storm Before the Calm - Is our culture falling apart?

I was recently talking with my good friend Neale Donald Walsch

about the "storm before the calm" that is unfolding in our culture.

All around us, it can seem like the world is falling apart. The

ecology of our planet is more fragile than ever, the global economy

is in shambles and countless human beings still live in extreme

hunger and poverty.

As I am sure you know this is just the tip of the iceberg...

Contrary to popular belief, this storm that we are witnessing isn't

the end of our times, rather, it's a clear sign that the climate of

humanity is changing. Old leaves must fall before new leaves and

flowers can bloom.

So much of the urgency that you have felt -- the ever increasing

speed and pace of life, moving from stress to distress, the

resistance of leaving the comforting womb of the familiar -- is

because of the storm of change that is upon us.

It is a call for the birth of a social evolution. We are the

generation that has the most profound task in human history, the

task of deciding whether we collectively evolve or become extinct

by our own doing.
